The Formation nowadays

It is created in January, 2004, by the singers Rumen Katsarov and Andrey Pernishki, whose friendship keeps them together since their teens, while their common professional path starts in 1990, when they meet as participants in the highly rated chamber ensemble for religious music "Orthodox".
Gained long-term experience and professional confidence unites them around the idea to create a new formation, whose repertoire should cover works from the Byzantine cannon, mediecal Bulgarian music, works of the religious-Slavic romanticism, as well as Western European music. Thus, the vocal formation "Santo Andreas" has been created, attracting singers, already established in the field of religious music with their impressing voices and rich professional exprerience.
